Hurricane Irene

It took me long time to get into the whole foods yesterday, city was so empty today.
Hope everyone is in safe and prepared for this hurricane.

ハリケーンが近づいています。
その名もアイリーンは、ヒットすれば１９０年ぶりの大きな被害になるとか。

昨日は昨日で街のひとたちは買い物にはしったり。
そのスーパーマーケットでこんな列ができていたり。

またされて入ったら結構ガラガラ。
何のために待たせたの！？
と思いつつもゆっくりショッピング。

わかりやすく水のセクションや、ベイカリー、缶詰のセクション、チップスのセクション、
保冷の必要のないものの棚はぜんぶすっからかん。



今日は今日でマンハッタンはがらーーーんとしたかんじ。
午後にでてみたけれど歩いているひともほとんどいないし、
お店はすべてしまってめばりやハリケーン対策をしているところが
よく目につきました。

これからが怖いけれど、
皆の無事を祈って！！！

Merry Christmas!

I went to upstate NY to spend Christmas day with my host family, we had a lot of people and so many gifts!!
恒例でアップステートにある元ホストファミリーのおうちにいってきました。相変わらずたくさんの親戚に、たくさんのプレゼント。私も家族の一員として暖かく迎えてくれます。

猫ちゃんもプレゼントをさがしています。


子供達が一番嬉しい瞬間。It was nice to see you all again!

I had this 2nd collaboration art show with the photographer, Haru Yamaguchi.
